Richard Hopkins—President, GM, Manager

Richard organized the Cactus Wrens in 1994 and continues as the only manager in the team’s history.  During this time he has instructed at clinics in Florida, Maryland, & California.  He has also coached teams from California, Washington, and the North American Liberty Belles.  Richard also attended the 2004 World Cup of Women’s Baseball in Edmonton, Alberta and the 2008 World Cup in Matsuyama, Japan.  He helped with the 2006 Team USA tryouts and selection camp in June & July 2006 in Phoenix, but was unable to attend the World Cup in Chinese-Taipei due to medical issues.
